Terry Marie Meador, 66, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on March 1, 2021 her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 18, 1954, in Washington, DC to the late Francis Leroy Hill, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Robey. Terry felt blessed to raised in a family of fourteen children.
Terry married her forever love, Brian Keith Meador on October 6, 1998. The two of them were best friends and loving partners. Their love grew throughout the years.
A woman with a fun-loving spirit, she was the life of every party. Her bright smile welcomed everyone and her sense of humor was infectious. She loved being a hostess and planned many get-togethers inviting family and friends. Terry was a wonderful cook and her parties were celebrations of life. She didn t need a reason just a beautiful day. She was a shuffle board player and shot pool on several leagues throughout the years. If you knew Terry, you know she was an avid BINGO player. Hawaii Farmers Need Better Data To Make Decisions

Federal and state budget cuts, combined with challenges in gathering data, have led to a shrinkage of up-to-date, accessible and comprehensive agricultural data in Hawaii in recent years.

Farmers, policymakers and others involved in agriculture say that hampers their ability to make critical decisions, including what crops to grow or invest in.
They also say it leads to murkiness about the reality of farming in Hawaii, especially land use.

Many of the most useful datasets in agriculture are outdated. The Statewide Agricultural Land Use Baseline has a 2015 timestamp, though that one is being updated this year.
State and federal agencies still publish data and reports about farming. But several data and market analysis programs have been discontinued in the past decade, including monthly reports on select Hawaii crops. Other reports have reduced frequencies. ....
