The Larimer County Assessor s Office estimated the Cameron Peak Fire caused nearly $6.4 million in damages to structures, though only half of the buildings destroyed by Colorado s largest wildfire were on the county s official record.
The recently released assessment report showed 243 structures were found to be destroyed. Earlier, the Larimer County Sheriff s Office reported a damage assessment team found 461 structures destroyed and eight more damaged, as it included numerous structures not included in county property records. ....
