A CAMPAIGN for a new GP surgery to satisfy an ‘unmet need’ in Wycombe has been revived – but the location remains a mystery. A petition to ensure that a “new health centre and doctors surgery” gets the go-ahead in Downley and Disraeli wards is gaining interest – but organisers are keeping precise details of the preferred site close to their chests.

They have had “provisional conversations” with The Pastures Church about the possibility of a new health centre “within their land” – while also claiming to have “identified a location within Downley” the trio said was ‘plausible, but yet to be announced’.
At a time of a national emergency we do not need political ideology. We need, but don’t have, a strong Prime Minister leading us through this terrible pandemic and relying on the unfettered scientific and medical advice without a faction of his own party constantly putting him under pressure to ignore such advice.
