The SunnyBrook Ballroom, Lower Pottsgrove Township, will host the Winter Wonderland Drive-In on Friday through Sunday, with an additional screening of the holiday classic It s a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve. This weekend s movies are A Bad Mom s Christmas on Friday, Elf on Saturday and The Santa Clause on Sunday. Each movie night will have a limited number of tickets, each covering the cost of one vehicle. The gates will open at 5 p.m., with plenty of holiday sights and refreshments for the whole family before and during the movies, which start at 7. The new Winter Wonderland Village will feature a large variety of food and beverages from movie theater popcorn to a holiday-inspired Christmas burger, plus soft drinks and holiday cocktails. Ordering will be available via mobile app, with car-side delivery by golf cart for all food and non-alcoholic beverages. 'Heroes of the Fourth Turning' Review: A Culture-War Conversation Piece

Will Arberyâs âHeroes of the Fourth Turningâ was one of the most talked-about plays of 2019, and I fully intended to review Playwrights Horizonsâ New York premiere in this space. Unfortunately, a family crisis made it impossible for me to do so, and the coming of the pandemic subsequently prevented regional theaters from taking up the play. Iâve been crossing my fingers ever since that somebody out there would mount a webcast version. Now Philadelphiaâs Wilma Theater, one of the East Coastâs leading drama companies, has taped a fully staged site-specific production of âHeroes of the Fourth Turningâ at a private location in the Poconos, turning the cast and crew into a closed quarantine âbubbleâ so that they could work together face-to-face instead of taping their performances separately via Zoom or green screens.
