Havana, Apr 11 (Prensa Latina) Scientists and health personnel from the Cuban capital who participate in the intervention study with two of this country s anti-Covid-19 candidates are currently vaccinated with the first dose.
The administration of the first dose of the Cuban vaccine candidates Soberana 02 and Abdala to the 75,000 health and Biocubafarma workers who are part of the intervention study developed in Havana, concluded, Cuba s Ministry of Public Health reported on Twitter.
This is a controlled intervention study for at-risk populations, which includes health workers and the Group of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries of Cuba (BioCubaFarma). ....

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of the scientists who helped land the Perseverance Rover on Mars spoke with current students at his high school alma mater on the Big Island about the mission.
Dr. Jesse Tarnas, a Parker School alumnus, works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a member of the science team for the Perseverance Mars rover mission. He earned his Ph.D. in planetary science from Brown University. ....
