Crystal Burke, 41, of 6625 State Route 60, Lowell, faces nine felony counts in the case of four alleged minor victims. “I think I’ve added correctly, the longest prison term you face if you’re convicted of everything and the court running the (sentences) consecutively is 56.5 years,” explained Washington County Common Pleas Judge Mark Kerenyi in arraignment Thursday.

Marietta VFW to hold free car wash for veterans | News, Sports, Jobs

Staff reports The Veterans of Foreign Wars in Marietta will hold a car wash event that is free for veterans on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. VFW Post 5108 is located at 319 Pike Street in Marietta. The car wash is also available to the general public. Those who are not veterans are asked to contribute cash donations that will go directly to the VFW and The American Legion. “I had a member of the community approach me, and he’s with a program with drug court,” said Robert Fitzgerald, the executive director for the Washington County Veterans Service Commission. “He did a year program where he’s been sober, and part of his graduation is doing a community project, and he wanted to support veterans.”
