Before a thousand gods working together could skin a flea, the Senate had somersaulted on its decision voting disgraced Grand Cape Mount County Senator Varney Sherman and notorious ex-warlord now Reverend and Senator, Prince Yormie Johnson, to head two (2) very important Senate Committees, Defense and Intelligence, and Judiciary, respectively.
They have just succeeded in selling to the world a very negative impression of themselves as people who stand for nothing. How could they not have known that their vote to place these two individuals at the helm of those important Senate committees would have constituted an act of betrayal of the Liberian people? ....

Sen. Prince Y. Johnson: “Our law says if accused, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty through the court of law.  So as a country of law, I am still assumed innocent,” Sen. Nimba County Senator Prince Y. Johnson has sternly reacted to the United States Embassy’s assertions concerning his alleged gross human rights violations during Liberia’s civil war, arguing that he is still “assumed innocent” until the outcome of a trial in a court of competent jurisdiction. ....
