The total number of cases stands at 2,035 – 1,677 confirmed and 358 probable. Deaths remained at 92. The number of COVID-positive patients at Warren General dropped by one from seven to six from Monday’s statistics. None of those patients were on ventilators and none were in intensive care. At State Correctional Institution Forest in Marienville, COVID circumstances have made a sharp turn for the better. Following Thursday’s reporting of 750 active cases among inmates with four deaths, and 17 active cases among staff with no deaths, Monday’s information showed a dramatic improvement. ....
