Read Article The United States Premier Hockey League held its National Collegiate Development Conference Entry Draft, during which the Twin City Thunder selected six forwards, five defensemen and two goalies as they look towards the 2021-22 season and beyond. “We did our due diligence and we were prepared for the draft and were able to get a good list of players, and players that are a direct reflection of the direction we are trying to move in, with some younger players,” Thunder NCDC assistant coach Cam Robichaud said. “If you look at the birth years of the (drafted players), (2002), (2003) and a couple of (2004), and the league as a whole is heading that direction, that young, speedy, skilled player.” ....

By Jim Scott Dec 15, 2020 3:21 PM DE PERE â The St. Norbert College Department of Intercollegiate Athletics 2021 Hall of Fame Class has grown by five individuals. Inductees are Marc Belanger (menâs hockey), Jeff Pentek (menâs cross country and track and field), Jenny Scherer (womenâs cross country and track and field), Nick Tabisz (menâs hockey) and Jared Yost (baseball). Belanger, a 2008 graduate, was a four-year letterwinner in menâs hockey from 2005 to 2008. He is a two-time first-team AHCA All-America selection in 2007 and 2008 and a second-team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2008. Seventh in career scoring at St. Norbert with 132 points, he scored 62 goals and 70 assists. Belanger scored a team-high 45 points in 2008, when the Green Knights captured their first national championship. He totaled 132 points as a forward. ....
