Redshirt freshman linebacker Devin Hightower entered the transfer portal on Tuesday.
Hightower, a former three-star recruit Archbishop Hoban High School in Ohio, was a member of Michigan State’s 2020 recruiting class. He appeared on special teams in one game as a true freshman last year.
Coach Mel Tucker, heading into his second season leading Michigan State, is overhauling the roster. Hightower is the 27th player on the team to enter the portal since November and Tucker is plugging holes with transfers and recruits.
