This month you can help Miracle League of Dubuque. This morning we chatted with Kelly Heysinger, board member for Miracle League of Dubuque, who filled us in on who and what their organization is all about. Kelly said the Miracle League of Dubuque is an all-inclusive baseball field and playground for people of all abilities. The field is located at 2970 Miracle League Drive in Veteran s Memorial Park (by Wahlert Catholic High School). The board was organized about 5 years ago when the idea came forward to create the field giving residents of all abilities to play. The park was added on in the last 2 years. ....

Managing editor Tami Roleff has the details… In cooperation with the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership Million Mask Giveaway, the Town of Yucca Valley has received a large shipment of masks, hand sanitizer, and face shields. The town is offering the personal protective equipment (PPE) to local small businesses at no cost to help ease the financial burden of operating safely during the COVID-19 pandemic. The distribution event is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be held Thursday, January 14, and Thursday, January 21, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Brehm Park, 56620 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley. ....
