April 14, 2021 Keith Moss of Newark, 55, passed away peacefully at home Monday, April 12, 2021. Keith was born April 30, 1965, in Morgantown, W.Va., to the late Joe Francis Moss and Jean Elizabeth (Marcrum) Moss. Keith’s passion was music. He was a respected and gifted guitar player and a talented engineer and producer at Target Studios in Newark. Keith played with many well-known area bands, including This Year’s Girl, Marc Moss and the Art Farm, the Porch Chops, and most recently, Wrecking Ball. He also served as a director and vice president at IMS Technology Services, and most recently as territory sales manager for Christie Digital Systems. He had a remarkable work ethic which was evidenced by his professional success. Keith enjoyed renovating his 150 -year-old farm property, growing vegetables in his garden and traveling with his family. He was a self-professed foodie and loved spending weekends crafting meals for family and friends. Keith� ....
A care home in Widnes has installed a visiting booth so residents can safely see their loved ones again. The booth was built free of charge for Millbrow care home by a friend of the home, Dave Gregg, who also made a portable screen for residents who can’t get out of bed so they too can have visitors. The booth is made of thin ply with a clear screen so that people can see and hear each other well and the mobile screen is three-sided and on wheels, both of which can be taken apart for storage. Lynne Moss, manager of the Halton Borough Council-run home, said: “The booth looks very stylish and is really well made. “The residents and staff were really impressed and looking forward to making good use of both items. “These will really make a difference to both the residents and relatives lives being able to be close to each other once again.” ....
