Penn State DuBois Softball headed into Tuesday’s double-header matchup against Penn State Brandywine in 1st place in the PSUAC East. Tough losses were realized, however, with Brandywine taking the win in both games, 9-5 and 7-0. Coach Jason Kern called on USCAA National Pitcher of the Week, Lizzy Scott (Morrisdale, Pennsylvania) to start game 1 in the circle for DuBois. Brandywine scored a quick 2 runs in the top of the 1st, but then Scott and her defense tightened up, and held the opposition scoreless for the next 4 innings. ....
