Four years ago, at 14, she became a professional dog handler. Lily Brenner, now 18, most recently showed her cardigan Welsh corgi, Melody, and Pembroke Welsh corgi, Lager, at an all-breed dog show. She also showed her Pembroke corgi, Dante, in the best of breed class at the show. “You work with your dog, you travel with them, you train them, so it s really fun to be just experienced going to places (to) show,” Brenner said. “It s just something I enjoy doing, and I hope to keep doing it.” All of Brenner’s dogs are co-owned.
