After the horrific week KZN residents experienced the previous week, we were all hoping for peace and quiet so that we could at least feel safe, most of all. Fortunately the week went by quite swiftly without much disruption. 
We kicked of the Monday by talking to Jenny Bowes, a woman who turned to music when all words failed her emotion during the #KZNShutdown. She had been at a storage facility that was looted and burnt down to try and recover her brother s belongings. When she saw a piano she knew she had to express herself the best way she knows how. What she didn t know is that she would touch people s hearts.  ....

Thousands of Durban residents woke to the overpowering stench of burning chemicals almost a week ago, when arsonists and looters set fire to a massive warehouse containing toxic pesticides and chemical products owned by the Mumbai-based chemicals giant UPL.
The Indian multinational group was set up in 1969 as United Phosphorus Limited by chemist Rajju Shroff and now boasts that it is the fifth biggest agrochemical company in the world (after Bayer, Dupont, Syngenta and BASF) with annual revenue of $5.04-billion ....
