Greater Noida: A team of top Noida officials and the Jewar MLA on Monday visited the site for the upcoming Noida International Airport to finalise the location for the foundation stone laying ceremony and the bhoomi pujan. While the spot has been inspected, the date is still being kept under wraps, with officials only confirming that the big-ticket event will take place at the end of August.
The inspection was carried out in the village of Ranhera. The team members included Arun Vir Singh, the CEO of Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL), the government’s special purpose vehicle for the Jewar airport project, police commissioner Alok Singh, and Jewar MLA Dhirender Singh.
