Vote Decides 'No Political Signs' On Rowayton Community Fence

NORWALK, CT Rowayton residents voted by a better than 2-to-1 margin Wednesday to keep the current rules for the popular community message fence on Rowayton Avenue that prohibits political signs, such as Black Lives Matter.
The final vote tally, according to the district, was 438 in favor of preserving the current rules, and 203 in favor of allowing a Black Lives Matter sign to remain up on the fence for a year. A total of 641 votes were cast. See the guidelines below for what is called the Old School Fence. ....

Rowayton Arts Center Invites Artists to Become Exhibiting Members – Drop off date January 28, 2021

The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) will review artwork by local artists interested in becoming exhibiting members January 29, 2021. Artists should bring items for consideration to the gallery on Thursday, January 28 from 12 to 5 pm. The artist selection will take place on Friday, January 29 with notifications sent to accepted artists the following week. Artists should plan on picking up their artwork on Friday, January 29 from 12 to 5 pm or, with prearranged permission, Saturday, January 30 from 10 am to 1 pm.
