HOUSTON, May 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/  Ascend Performance Materials today published its latest sustainability report highlighting the company s performance and initiatives across three pillars: Empowering People, Innovating Solutions and Operating Without Compromise.

Officials say utility customers who heed the call to conserve power stand to pay less.
The state’s gas and electric utilities are collectively gearing up to spend at least $1.6 billion over the next three years to spur customers to reduce energy use, an investment aimed at driving down the cost of utility bills.
The investments were spurred largely by the 2018 Clean Energy Act, a wide-ranging law that sought to lay out what needs to be done to achieve the goal of the administration of Gov. Phil Murphy for 100% clean energy in New Jersey by mid-century. ....

That’s why a beloved piece of Chicago public art, the Chicago Jewish Mural, just underwent a major, much-needed renovation.
Four decades ago, artists, friends and activists, Cynthia Weiss and Miriam Socoloff, created a glass mosaic mural that depicts the history of Chicago Jews.
The mosaic, installed on a wall of the Bernard Horwich Jewish Community Center on the far north side of Chicago, a predominantly Jewish neighborhood, tells the story of Jewish immigration to the United States, and Chicago in particular, during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. ....
