The fire broke out on Reid Road, one road south of Wingham. It started around 2:30 p.m. and was finally brought under control a few hours later. Crews had to haul in water from Wingham, causing increased fire truck activity heading south out of town, throughout the afternoon. Granite Falls Man Charged With Felony Offenses Aaron Thomas Annas Granite Falls Man Charged With Felony Offenses April 27, 2021 30-year-old Aaron Thomas Annas of Reid Road in Granite Falls was arrested Monday (April 26) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of larceny of chose in action and possession of counterfeit instrument, currency, or check. Annas was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled Wednesday (April 28). ....
