The first 10 owner ambassadors for this year’s All-Star Mile have been announced. The lucky punters are in the running to win a share in $500,000 on All-Star Mile day at The Valley on March 13. One owner ambassador has been chosen at random from the voters for each of the first 10 horses in this year’s field, with $250,00 going to the person whose horse win’s this year’s race. News Corp Australia and Racenet can exclusively reveal the West Australian superstar, one of six Group 1 winners qualified for the world’s richest mile, attracted 15,105 votes to be the No.1 seed. The poll attracted a record 147,830 validated votes, with Arcadia Queen, Behemoth (14,699) and Kiwi raider Probabeel (14,503) clear top picks. Link to Share Western Australia s COVID-19 scare has potentially thrown the autumn campaigns of All-Star Mile contenders Arcadia Queen and Regal Power into disarray, with both gallopers unable to trial as planned at Belmont on Monday. The discovery a security guard had returned a positive COVID-19 test resulted in protocols being put into place in Perth on Sunday, forcing Monday s trials to be cancelled along with the closure of Perth s public training tracks. Owner Bob Peters said on Monday the cancelled trial could impact on the autumn preparations of Arcadia Queen and Regal Power, especially as the training tracks were also closed as a response to the COVID-19 positive. ....

It will be his first run since he finished last to Regal Power in the $5 million All-Star Mile at Caulfield in March. Eustace said Heart Of Puissance needed a good spell after that race as he had jarred up on the firm track. When he came back into work, they sensed he wasn’t at his best and eventually found he had a rare degenerative gum disease which led to him having the mouth of an older horse with aged teeth. ....
