Crews took to social media after being called out to Moyles Court at Rockford, near Ringwood. Ringwood Fire Station tweeted: Last night we were called to discarded rubbish that had been left in the car park and set fire to. This needless waste of resources and lack of respect for the Forest could have turned into a much larger incident. After extinguishing the fire we picked up the remainder of the rubbish and brought it back to our station to dispose of responsibly. If you are visiting the Forest please take all your rubbish home with you and remember that BBQs or fires of any kind are not allowed. ....

A DOG was rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in a rabbit hole in Ringwood. Toby, a 12-year-old Jack Russell, had to be dug out by firefighters from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service on Wednesday, February 10. Animal rescue advisor Dave Allen and firefighters from Ringwood were called to the incident in Gorley Road at around 5.30pm A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: A 12-year-old Jack Russell, called Toby, had got stuck after running underground into a rabbit hole and could be heard barking for help. Firefighters dug around the area until Toby was found and he was safely reunited with his owner. ....
By Tom Orde Crime and court reporter Car fire in Winston Way, Ringwood FIREFIGHTERS raced to put out a car fire after it burst into flames. A crew from Ringwood Fire Station rushed to Winston Way at around 10.45am on Sunday. A silver Rover was 75 per cent damaged, according to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service. Police were notified of the blaze but reportedly did not attend. The cause of the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
