From The Tribune staff reports BIRMINGHAM – Birmingham Mayor Randall L. Woodfin has announced his reappointment of Lucien Blankenship and appointment of Chris Rice to the Birmingham Water Works Board. His announcement was made through a press release on Tuesday morning. “The Birmingham Water Works Board performs a major role in the oversight of the utility for our residents,” Mayor Woodfin said. “I am pleased to appoint these two experienced and trusted professionals.” Blankenship is a Birmingham attorney with Blankenship and Associates. He is a member of the Alabama A&M University Board of Trustees and board chairman for Urban Impact. He has remained active in his community as president of the Youth Sports Association in Titusville and PTA president for Phillips Academy. ....
