TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa mother accused of abusing a 6-week-old foster child in her care has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Amanda Gary was arrested over three years ago and charged with aggravated child abuse after investigators said one of the baby s legs had been broken.
She said it all began one night when, in the middle of changing the child s diaper, she heard something strange. 
I lifted her leg, I heard a noise, and I knew something was wrong, Gary recalled.
She rushed the baby to the hospital where, after determining the baby had a broken leg, doctors immediately suspected child abuse. Soon, Gary was facing criminal charges. ....

TAMPA, Fla. - Amanda Gary has been a foster mother for years. Her attorney, Rick Escobar, says children are her life.  
I would characterize Amanda Gary as the foster mother of the decade, said Escobar. 
Gary was arrested for aggravated child abuse of a six-week-old foster child. Prosecutors say the baby’s legs were broken and the baby was rushed to the hospital. Medical staff alerted authorities who later arrested Gary. 
But Escobar says, there was a series of mistakes made by medical staff and a rush to judgment by child protection investigators. ....

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan says TPD detective Jarda Bradford tampered with evidence and broke the law, but her attorney Rick Escobar says that’s not true. 
Listen, were there mistakes made in this particular case? Mistakes were made, but it’s the reason for those mistakes that is so crucial and so important, explained Escobar. 
Earlier this week, Dugan held a press conference to announce Bradford’s suspension and arrest. The 38-year old is accused of tampering with evidence involving a photo pack.   ....
