A NEW state-of-the-art £24million business park designed to create 2,000 jobs and put Braintree on the map has moved a step nearer to completion.
The roads and infrastructure at the Horizon 120 Innovation Park, in Great Notley, have been completed 15 months after building work began.
Work has also finished on the landscaping and the creation of a pond and wildlife habitat. ....

ABC unveiled its primetime schedule for the 2021-2022 season, which includes fan favorites and several bold, fresh new series.
Debuting this fall is “The Wonder Years”, the buzzed-about hip-hop drama series “Queens,” which will feature original music performed by cast members.
Previously announced fan-favorites “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “The Bachelorette,” “Big Sky,” “The Conners,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Goldbergs,” “The Good Doctor,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “A Million Little Things,” “The Rookie,” “Shark Tank” and “Station 19” are also set to return this fall.

Peter Card, 77, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born in South Kingston, RI (1944) to the late Arthur Frank and Louise Chase Card.
He graduated from South Kingston High School in 1962 and was recruited by Don Zimmer as a stand-out high school baseball pitcher. He chose instead to attend the University of Utah on a full athletic scholarship in baseball and football. He apprenticed at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT and was selected to weld his initials onto the keel of a newly commissioned submarine. Pete served aboard the Admiral’s Ship, the USS Yosemite, during the Viet Nam War. He helped build (from the onset) the Raccoon Mountain Pumped Storage Plant in Chattanooga. ....
