This was stated by PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah while talking to the media outside Anti-Narcotics Court here on Saturday. “Sugar, flour and medicines have disappeared from the country,” he said, adding the incompetent gang was still stealing flour, sugar and medicines. He said he was indicted in a false drug case as a political revenge and it has been now two years he was attending hearings but nothing has been proved yet. Sana to be indicted on 23rd National January 12, 2021 LAHORE: A special court for Control of Narcotics Substance Monday directed the prosecution to provide statements of the witnesses to the accused in a drug trafficking case against former Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah. Previously, the counsel of Rana Sana had informed the court that statements of witnesses against his client had not been provided to him. After which the court had reserved its judgment on the matter for January 11. The court after issuing the order has summoned Rana and other accused by January 23 for their indictment in the case. Rana Sana didn’t appear before the court and filed an application seeking one-time exemption from personal appearance which was accepted by the court. ....

Rana Sana indictment deferred in heroin smuggling case National January 3, 2021 LAHORE: A special court for Control of Narcotics Substance Saturday deferred the indictment of former law minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah, an accused of trafficking 15-kilogram heroin. The indictment was due for Saturday. However, the counsel for Rana Sana informed the court that statements of witnesses against his client had yet not been provided to him. After which, the court adjourned the hearing till Jan 11. Rana Sana was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and an FIR [first information report] was registered against him. The ANF claimed that it had received a tip-off that the vehicle of Rana Sana was carrying a heavy quantity of drugs after which a raid was conducted. The FIR further stated that when the ANF officials intercepted his vehicle, he and his guards indulged in a scuffle with them. ....
