Inquest opens into death of Southampton woman found dead at flat


MYSTERY surrounds the death of a Southampton women who had to be identified through dental records.
Police were called on October 9, 2020, after Jucivalda Pereira Davies had not been seen for some time. Her body was found her home in Radstock Road, Southampton.
An inquest has been opened into her death at Winchester Coroner’s Court by area coroner Jason Pegg.
Mr Pegg said that the 42-year-old was identified by a pathologist with the assistance of a dentist.
Mrs Davies’ cause of death is currently “unascertained due to the state of decomposition”.
Mr Pegg adjourned the hearing for a full inquest to take place on October 3. ....

Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 24 months. Ordered to pay £820 compensation, £122 victim surcharge and £620 court costs. ....
