Khadem’s murder in Rangpur in 2015: convicted JMB man arrested in Savar Star Digital Report Star Digital Report Anti-terrorism unit of police arrested a member of banned militant group Jama atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) yesterday; nearly three years after a Rangpur court sentenced him to death for killing the caretaker of a mazar in 2015. Abdur Rahman alias Chandu Mia, is a member of the militant group. He had been hiding in different areas over the years, posing as rickshaw puller and day labourer, Aslam Khan, ATU s superintendent of police, told reporters. A team of ATU arrested him from Savar area around 7:30pm yesterday, he said during a briefing at ATU headquarters in Baridhara.
