The Government has upgraded the post of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu to the rank of Additional DGP till it is held by incumbent IGP Mukesh Singh V K Singh, DGP Prisons has been transferred and posted as Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF, J&K. The post of Commandant General HG/CD/SDRF, J&K has been declared as equivalent in rank and status to that of DGP, till the time it is held byV KSingh. ....

Like Bhoi, a large number of people in the state are in dark about the procedures online registration and slot booking. “I use a smart phone, but only to make and receive phone calls. I don’t know the internet use. Even if I avail the internet facility in my phone, who will help me in registering online and booking vaccination slot for me,” Bhoi asked. ....
RPO releases first edition of Hindi Magazine âTavishaâ RPO releases first edition of Hindi Magazine âTavishaâ Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, May 3: Regional Passport Office (RPO) Jammu today released the first edition of annual Hindi Magazine ‘Tavisha’. Rashmi Ranjan Swain, Director General of Police (CID) J&K released the maiden edition of the magazine following Corona protocol. Speaking on the occasion RP Officer, N.K Shil said officials of his office worked very hard and made their valuable contributions in compiling and accomplishing the first edition of the Hindi Magazine themselves. He said that prime objective of the magazine is to promote the use of Hindi in official and private work, besides display of literary creative work of staff and their families. ....
