A Chautauqua County winery is one of 25 winners in the 2021 New York Wine Classic. The Johnson Estate’s 2018 estate grown Traminette is winner in the Best Traminette category in the competition. The New York Wine Classic is organized by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation. “Congratulations to the winners of the New York Wine Classic, and to all the wineries who entered this most prestigious competition,” said Richard Ball, state agriculture commissioner. “New York state’s wine makers continue to set themselves apart and produce some of the very best wines in the world.
