Laura. We know that the arson investigators from the San Jose Fire Department and the atf are examining whats left of this twostory home here on via montez. Early this morning the Fire Department found the body of the familys grandmother in a bedroom on the second floor. A firefighter was trying to break through the second floor window and save her. He ended up falling through the hole on the lower roof there. He was taken to the hospital for a hip injury. We have learned that he did not suffer a fracture and is expected to be okay. The fire started around 3 30 this morning. The Fire Department says the downstairs was fully engulfed when they arrived on the scene. They called for three alarms. There were four other family members inside the home when it caught fire overnight. All four did get out okay. Two we ....
