Kejriwal urges Centre to reserve 70 pc beds in govt hospitals for Covid patients New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that he has again urged the Centre to reserve at least 7,000 of 10,000 beds in the Central government hospitals for Covid patients as less than 100 ICU beds are now left in the national capital due to a drastic rise in the fresh cases. A large number of patients are being admitted to hospitals and we are falling short of ICU beds. In Delhi, we are now left with less than 100 ICU beds, Mr Kejriwal said in a digital press conference. ....
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said around 25,500 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Delhi and the positivity rate has increased to nearly 30 per cent in the last 24 hours. He also said that the Delhi government has sought the Centre s help in ensuring adequate beds and supply of oxygen for COVID-19 patients.
