Winnipeg Police Service Chief Danny Smyth’s total remuneration for 2020 was $291,834.
On Tuesday, the City released its 2020 Public Compensation Disclosure as per the Provincial Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act. Smyth’s total compensation, the highest of all Winnipeg public servants, may or may not include any combination of salary and taxable benefits, overtime, retroactive pay adjustments, retirement allowance, sick pay cash out, vacation pay cash out, or back pay.
