Marlene Zoller Rust passed away at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, after a courageous battle with lung cancer with her family by her side. Marlene was born on January 12, 1953, in Gloversville, NY, to Eugene Zoller and Ruth Morrison Zoller.
Marlene began her career at St. Claire’s Hospital in Schenectady as a Radiology Technician but retired from Sunmount DDSO after nearly 30 years. She was also employed by various restaurants in the community through the years.
Marlene loved all animals but was especially interested in the welfare of wild animals and spent over a decade as a wildlife rehabilitator. She was very active in the community in various volunteer roles and never missed a chance to help out wherever she was needed. She also enjoyed birdwatching, flowers, exercising her patriotic spirit, gardening, reading, crocheting, sewing, baking, cooking for friends and family, and she especially enjoyed monarch butterflies and preserving their natural habitat.

John Vincent Castiglione, 80, of Gloversville, passed away on January 31, 2021, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with kidney failure and other medical issues.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years (together for 33 years), Carol L. Kilburn; his sister Johanne Papa (Mario); his six children, Robin (Mimi), James (Maria), Joseph, Tracy Cunha, Kevin Cary and Claudette Cary Mihaly; his nine grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Bailey, Nicholas, Natalie, David, Kyle, Nathan, Bryce, Devin and Emilio; his niece and nephew, Stacia and David Jung.
The son of the late Jim and Mary Castiglione, John graduated from Gloversville High School in 1958. He continued his studies at Delhi College, graduating with an AA in Business Administration and continued on to Ryder College, graduating with a BA in Business Administration. Robert Wesley Toussaint, age 78, of Gloversville, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, after a short stay at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
He was born on March 23, 1942, in Troy, son of the late Wesley Charles Toussaint and Mary Loretta Hutchkin Toussaint.
Robert honorably served his country in U.S. Air Force as an engine mechanic from 1959 to 1968. He was employed for many years as a mechanic at the former Johnstown Dodge until his retirement.
Mr. Toussaint is survived by his daughter, Christine Toussaint; his son-in-law, Damon Nellis and his fiancee, Rachel Schabot; as well as the “golf group.”
