New Delhi: Accusing the Ram Mandir trust of dividing Hindus and Muslims, Congress leader Digvijay Singh asked who authorized Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to collect funds for the construction of Ram Mandir.
The senior Congress leader also called himself a better Hindu than BJP leaders.

Bengaluru, Dec 22 (IANS): The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will rope in over five lakh volunteers to start a door-to-door fundraising drive in Karnataka from January 15 to February 27 next year, to build a grand Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Central Working President of the VHP, Alok Kumar said here on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters here, Kumar who is also the chief of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust s Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan, said that the VHP will form one lakh groups, comprising five volunteers each, who will go to 27,500 villages in the state and contact 90 lakh devotees for obtaining the Nidhi Samarpan (fund for temple).
