If Owendale-Gagetown senior Libby Ondrajka feels as if her time in high school went by extremely fast, that’s understandable.
After all, the Class of 2021 salutatorian has spent the last four years studying, running cross county, playing softball and basketball and serving as a member of the cheerleading squad.
That’s a lot of stuff to pack into four academic years, and she managed to not only participate but excel both in the classroom and on the track, court and field.
Libby took time out of her ridiculously busy schedule on Friday to sign a letter of intent to attend and run track and cross country at Saginaw Valley State University. She plans to study for a career as a pharmacist because she said wants to help care for people. ....

UBLY – The Ubly boys basketball team, coming off an emotional 47-43 victory over rival Harbor Beach on Saturday, proved to be too much for Capac (1-9, 0-7) on Monday night as the Bearcats beat the visiting Chiefs, 60-26
The Bearcats, who will host the Pirates in a rematch for the Greater Thumb East title on March 19, are now 8-2 overall and in conference play.
Leading the way for the Bearcats on Monday night were Kyle Sweeney and Gabe Sweeney each with 17 points and Cole Hagen with 10.
Up next for Ubly is road game at Marlette on Friday. The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ....
