BMCC Sends Out FARM Crates to Local Educators March 3, 2021 In partnership with the MiSTEM Network, the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (EUPISD), and the Foundation for Agriculture and Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom, Bay Mills Community College (BMCC) has announced that 44 educators will be recipients of FARM (Food Agriculture Resources in Motion) crates. The crates provide insight into agricultural careers and Michigan agriculture through a variety of hands-on activities, books, and virtual farm tours. The overall goal is to increase agricultural literacy in today’s youth with crates providing the tools for empowering teachers and students. Crates will be provided to teachers on a monthly basis. ....
