A new community and childrenâs park is now in full swing.
The park in Edingley has opened thanks to a county council scheme, backed by residents and Edingley Parish Council.
The £36,000 play area, at the front of the Edingley Old Schoolroom, features equipment including a wooden ship with slide, an infinity bowl and balancing beam.

Nottinghamshire County Councilâs Local Improvement Scheme gave £18,000 towards the project, which was match-funded by the parish council thanks to residentsâ fundraising efforts, which included children washing cars and pub quizzes.
