SINGAPORE, Jan. 29, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) On February 27, 2020, the flagship journal of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, the
Journal of Thoracic Oncology, published a case study that described two patients from Wuhan, China who recently underwent lung lobectomies for adenocarcinoma and were retrospectively found to have had COVID-19 at the time of surgery.
Eleven months later, the lung cancer research community gathered virtually at the IASLC 2020 World Conference on Lung Cancer Singapore to share a number of research findings examining the intersection of COVID-19 and lung cancer. Flappy Flips Into Katy, Bistro 555 Closes Soon

Flappy Wings and Burgers, 1315 W. Grand Parkway, began its soft opening December 29. A grand opening is planned within the next couple of weeks. The business began originally in Katy Mills Mall by Huma and Riaz Ahmad who were school clothes shopping when they came across a kiosk for lease. Riaz had dreamed of opening a restaurant so the couple decided to purchase the former deli space and begin their own venture. After two years, they decided they needed a proper kitchen and closed up shop at Katy Mills in late November 2020 in order to relocate to the new space.
The menu is extensive and eclectic at Flappy with a mix of Pakistani, Mediterranean, Greek, Mexican and Italian food along with some great burgers. The Turbo Burger is one of its best sellers and offers a beef patty topped with Philly cheesesteak meat, provolone and American cheese. MIT engineers have developed a way to store medical information under the skin, using a quantum dot dye that is delivered, along with a vaccine, by a microneedle patch. The dye, which is invisible to the naked eye, can be read later using a specially adapted smartphone.
