Amherst Takes Another Step Towards New Park
Yesterday the Amherst Town Board voted unanimously to purchase the old Westwood Country Club and turn it into a new park.
According to WGRZ, the purchase will give the Town of Amherst 170 acres of land that will be converted into a new park. The proposal for the park will call for the park to also include an indoor field house.
