Seven Murders This Weekend; Four People Killed Saturday Night ID’d
INDIANAPOLIS–The four people shot and killed at a house on North Randolph St., Saturday night, have been ID’d by the Marion County coroner.
Coroner Alfie Ballew said Monday morning that
Anthony Johnson, 35; Dequan Moore, 23; Eve Moore, 7; and Tomeeka Brown, 44, all died from gunshot wounds.
A man wanted for questioning in their deaths, Malik Halfacre, 25, was taken into custody Sunday after hiding in an attic for several hours. Indianapolis Metro Police Deputy Chief Craig McCart confirmed that Halfacre was the father of Malia Halfacre, the six-month-old girl who was taken from the home and later found safe. ....
