On Wednesday January 20,2021 the University of Minnesota Extension Service will be hosting a webinar which is part of the Strategic Farming 2021 series titled: Herbicide Technology Traits, What to use where, when and how. You can access the webinar on your computer, phone or other mobile device. The program will be on Zoom from 8:30 to 9:00 am. After the presentation of about 10 minutes there will a 20 minute discussion built around farmer questions.
The program will be led by Debalin Sarangi Extension Weed Scientist and Tom Peterson Extension Sugarbeet Agronomist. Join the University of Minnesota Extension in discussing crop topics at their “Strategic Farming: Let’s Talk Crops!” program with online sessions now available over Zoom.
Sessions will be held over Zoom, which can be accessed via computer, phone or other mobile device, and run from 8:30 to 9:00 am on Wednesdays through March 24.
“If you haven’t yet, please be sure to register for the Strategic Farming: Let’s Talk Crops program! You can join in on the discussion from the comforts of your own living room, or bring the conversation with you as you go about your day,” said a release. “Whatever works best for you, we hope you will join us this winter to discuss some of the key issues and questions around crop production facing Minnesota corn and soybean farmers today.”

TRUMAN It’s time to register for the Strategic Farming: Let’s talk crops program. Sessions will be held over Zoom, which can be accessed via your computer, phone or other mobile device. These sessions will run from 8:30-9 a.m. every Wednesday and are very informal, discussing key issues and questions facing Minnesota corn and soybean farmers today. For more details on each session and to register, go to, https://z.umn.edu/strategic-farming. You need only register once for the whole program series. Not able to attend a day? No problem. Sessions will be recorded and posted for viewing later at your convenience. If you are not familiar with Zoom, details will be included at registration on how to access the session your computer (all you need is the link) or mobile device. These programs are being offered at no charge, thanks to support from the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council and the Minnesota Corn Research and Promotion Council.
Beginning on January 6, 2021 the University of Minnesota Extension Service will be hosting a multi-week series every Wednesday titled Strategic Farming 2021: Let s Talk Crops. The series will be held every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:00 am. The Zoom sessions will be quite informal and are open to anyone that would be interested. There is no cost. The sessions will begin with about a 10 minute presentation from the discussion leaders on the topic of the day. Then there will be a 20 minute discussion framed around farmer and participant questions.
One nice feature of this technology is that all the sessions will be posted online soon after they are concluded. Then those interested in the topic of the week can watch when they have the time.
