Twospotted spider mite scouting reminders Photos by Adam Sisson, Iowa State University
SCOUT FIELD EDGES: This is twospotted spider mite injury on soybean. Twospotted spider mites often aggregate at field edges, especially if there are weeds surrounding the border. So, growers should look at edge rows first to see if mites can be found. With much of Iowa in moderate or severe drought, growers are encouraged to scout for twospotted spider mites.
