It contains a 226-key hotel on the first 13 floors and 57 private residences above, with restaurants, retail and separate entrances at street level. Shared amenities include a terrace for use of residents, hotel guests and the public. Owing to its prominent location, the brief called for a respectful design that adhered to the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission conditions.
