Ford Motor Co (F.N) and South Korean battery maker SK Innovation (096770.KS) on Thursday announced they will form a battery joint venture in North America to support the No. 2 U.S. automaker s electric vehicle rollout.
The companies said they have signed a memorandum of understanding for the formation of the venture, called BlueOvalSK. Reuters on Wednesday reported plans for the joint venture. read more ....

Revenues disbursed to states from federal oil and gas leasing are not expected to decline significantly in the near term due to the Biden administration s pause and review of the program, an official said on Tuesday.

Asian Man Injured in Unprovoked Attack in San Francisco

San Francisco Police say an Asian man suffered head injuries after he was attacked. The victim, 59-year-old Danny Yu Chang was walking in the area of Market Street Monday when the attack happened. Witnesses say the suspect ran up to Chang and punched him in the head multiple times, and he fell to the ground. The suspect then got on a MUNI bus and left the area. Chang was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and can barely see. Police were able to link the attack to another incident earlier in the day caught on surveillance video. The same attacker cut another man in the face in an unprovoked attack near the 16th/Mission BART station. Police arrested 32-year-old Jorge Devis-Milton. He is facing charges multiple assault charges, as well as aggravated mayhem, and battery. These incidents come as attacks on Asian Americans have increased during the pandemic. ....
