Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s west. Camilo Matheson, aged 14, was last seen outside a school on Burwood Road, Belmore about, 8.30am on Tuesday 16 February 2021. He was reported missing to officers from Campsie Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him. Concerns are held for welfare his due to age. He may be using the rail network and in the Sutherland Shire area. Camilo is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. Detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Profert to investigate three alleged armed robberies at businesses in Canterbury, Hurlstone Park and Wiley Park on Sunday 3 January 2021 and Monday 4 January 2021. The incidents include – About 4.40am on Sunday 3 January 2021, three men – armed with knives and a firearm – entered a licenced premise at the intersection of Canterbury Road and Tincomb Street, Canterbury. The men threatened employees and patrons, before stealing cash from a number of poker machines and fleeing the area.
