FARGO A non profit is expanding to build the self esteem of even more young girls, through new local partnerships.
BIO Girls runs 12-week programs to build confidence and empower young girls. Now, they re announcing partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley and Jasmin Childcare.
BIO Girls founder, Missy Heilman says the main goal of the partnership is to make programs more accessible. The mode of transportation is a barrier for some girls, and so we re really looking at partnering with organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, like Jasmin Childcare and preschool to meet girls where they are, Heilman said.
