The new cases came out of 81,829 tests, including 55,702 RT-PCR. The city recorded a maximum 1.14 lakh Covid tests in a day on April 11, but since then, daily tests have been below the one lakh mark. The figure has reduced by 27% in the last two weeks. “We must have more tests to ensure timely diagnosis, isolation and treatment of positive cases,” doctors say. “How many states are facing the kind of (oxygen) shortage Delhi is facing? People will keep dying and you will not do anything?” This is how an anguished Delhi high court bench questioned the Centre on Wednesday, observing that Delhi hadn’t received its allocated quantity of medical oxygen for a single day. ANI | Updated: Apr 29, 2021 09:09 IST New Delhi [India], April 29 (ANI): With the second COVID-19 wave severely straining the healthcare facilities, Delhi Police stepped in to provide much-needed oxygen cylinders to a children s hospital in Malviya Nagar. An SOS message was received on Wednesday from the Rainbow Children s hospital in Malviya Nagar regarding an acute shortage of oxygen. The police was informed that the hospital only had enough to last another half an hour, the police said. The Station House Officer of the Malviya Nagar Police Station along with other personnel reached the hospital, where 71 COVID-positive children and pregnant women were on oxygen support. ....

His lawyer said that they suspect YouTuber Gaurav Wasan s role. The 80-year-old has also alleged that some miscreants have threatened to burn down his Dhaba. Kanta Prasad has filed a complaint at the Malviya Nagar Police Station. Prasad, in his complaint, has alleged that due to this sudden fame, many people are now jealous of him.
