PO held in Lakki Marwat Peshawar April 28, 2021 LAKKI MARWAT: The police arrested the accused after an exchange of fire in Dallokhel village and seized arms from his possession on Tuesday. Talking to the media, Incharge of Saddar Police Station Javed Khan Marwat said that sources informed the police about the presence of the notorious criminal Atiq-ur-Rehman, resident of Dallokhel Mutabar, at his home. He said that a team cordoned off the huused of Atiq-ur-Rehman, a notorious criminal, who started firing at the police. The police also returned the fire, forcing the accused to surrender. The police recovered a Kalashnikov with ammunition and two hand grenades from the possession of the accused. Police also registered a case against the accused and handed over the suspects and started an investigation. ....

Peshawar January 23, 2021 LAKKI MARWAT: The Grand Health Alliance on Friday expressed grave concern over blaming doctors for the death of two people who were injured in a firing incident in Lakki city three days back. Speaking at a press conference here, president of the alliance Dr Muhammad Ibrahim said that the doctors along with paramedics were on duty in the Emergency Ward in the City Hospital when three dead and two injured were brought there. He said the crowd of people barged into the ward and locked the staff members in the retiring room after the two injured expired. “The hospital staff members have all the proof and evidence to ascertain that the doctors and paramedics were present on the occasion and they tried their best to save the injured,” he said. ....
