Martin Sylvester died aged 63 last June after a five-year fight with the cancer. The much-loved grandad was treated at the Georgina Unit at Russells Hall Hospital for much of that time, before being transferred to the QE. The family wanted to say thank you to the hospital for caring for him and grandchildren Harriet and Milo Todd, aged five and ten and Nancy, Megan and Jude Mcfarlane, aged six, ten and 11, have just completed an ambitious walking fundraiser. Woodbridge Town Council has begun considering the future of the town s Shire Hall, where the authority is based and holds its regular meetings. The building was built by Thomas Seckford in around 1575. Over the years it has served a number of purposes, including as a corn exchange with the upper area used for judicial work. It was bought by Woodbridge Town Council in 1987 and is still used by the council as well as being hired out for event use. The upstairs area of the building is rented by the Seckford Foundation. ....
