Awaiting the approval to start that stage by the Center of State Medical Equipment and State Control of Cuba, authorities are preparing vaccination facilities and the experts in charge of this phase with some 30,000 volunteers. The Saturnino Lora Provincial Teaching Hospital will remain the epicenter of these tests, which started early in December, 2020, with 132 and 660 individuals, respectively, strictly supervised by experts from the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Center (CIGB), which created the vaccine. ....
